As a Porter and Customer Service Attendant, you play an essential role in servicing our community. Your customer service and the completion of your daily responsibilities provides our clients with a sense of belonging and importance. Let your professional customer service shine! Community Automotive Repair started in 1975. We are a well-known and independently owned automotive repair shop that specializes in servicing import vehicles.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Transport customers via company shuttle to/from shop/home/work.
- Helps with closing the shop at the end of the day.
- Organizes the shop parking lot.
- Cleans cars, (Car wash) and scrapes snow off during winter months.
- Deliver and pick up any needed parts.
- Keep inventory stocked and organized.
- Cleans property inside and out and completes other daily projects as needed.
- Cleans shop two days a week (extended hours, see schedule below)
Skills and Knowledge:
- Must be able to drive automatic and manual stick shift vehicles.
- Maintain a personable, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.
- Possess time management skills to maintain efficiency and organiztion of your work and priorities.
Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Driver's License with a clean driving record for insurability purposes
- Able to lift 70 lbs. and buddy lift beyond that
Schedule:
- Part-Time Position
- Monday - Friday:
- 1:00pm - 6:00pm
- Extended hours for shop cleaning: Tuesdays and Thursdays (approximately 4 hours later each night), this means leaving around 10pm two days a week.
- Expected hours may range betten 33-35 hours per week.
